In just four days, our dedicated team visited seven remote villages in Morocco, delivering over 1,000 food parcels to families in need in time for Eid al-Adha. Each parcel was carefully prepared to provide essential staples, ensuring no one went hungry during this sacred time. Alongside this, we distributed over 350 sets of clothes and quality shoes to children—many of whom rarely receive such gifts. Each child was given a full Eid gift: a new pair of shoes, a clothes set allowing them to celebrate with dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging.
Thanks to your generous support, we were also able to distribute basic clothing to children in hardship-affected areas—offering them dignity, warmth, and care. These items were chosen to meet practical needs while easing the financial pressure many families face.
In addition, we provided zakat-aligned financial support directly to some of the most disadvantaged households, prioritising cases of severe poverty. These encounters were humbling reminders of the importance of targeted, accountable relief.
To maximise the impact of your donations, our team made two separate trips from our base to Casablanca—each time setting off at 6am for the five-hour drive. These journeys weren’t easy, but they allowed us to access the best markets and wholesalers firsthand.
We visited dozens of shops, carefully comparing prices and negotiating directly with vendors to ensure we secured the best value possible. By refusing to settle for the first offer or convenient options, we saved a significant amount—stretching every pound of your donation.
Thanks to these efforts, we were able to deliver more aid than initially planned. In the final village, we had enough remaining stock to provide additional essential clothing items to some children in need, ensuring no resources were wasted.
This wasn’t just a delivery—it was a mission driven by sincerity, transparency, and a deep responsibility to you, our supporters.
