Reaching Seven Villages in Four Days: Delivering Eid Joy
In just four days, our dedicated team visited seven remote villages in Morocco, delivering over 1,000 food parcels to families in need in time for Eid al-Adha. Each parcel was carefully prepared to provide essential staples, ensuring no one went hungry during this sacred time. Alongside this, we distributed over 350 sets of clothes, toys, and quality shoes to children—many of whom rarely receive such gifts. Each child was given a full Eid gift: a new pair of shoes, a clothes set, and a toy of their choice, allowing them to celebrate with dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging.
Beyond the parcels and gifts, we personally delivered zakat funds to some of the most vulnerable households we encountered. These moments reminded us of the real impact of your generosity and inspired us to continue serving with sincerity.
Maximising Every Penny: A Journey of Love and Accountability
To make your donations go further, we made two separate trips from our base to Casablanca, leaving at 6am to scour local markets and wholesalers. We visited dozens of stores, comparing prices and negotiating the best deals—never settling for convenience or the first offer. This hard work paid off: we saved thousands of pounds of your money and managed to stretch our budget so efficiently that in the final village, we had enough spare clothes and shoes for some children to receive extra items. This mission wasn’t just a deployment—it was the beginning of a long-term commitment to run our charity with care, transparency, and heart. The laughter and smiles of the children continue to drive us, and we thank every supporter and volunteer who made this incredible journey possible.
