Turkey Earthquake
On February 6th 2023, a devastating earthquake struck southeast Turkey, impacting 10 cities—including Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Gaziantep, and Adıyaman. Later that day, a second powerful quake hit the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş, 80 miles north of Gaziantep. With over 55,000 lives lost, 130,000 injured, and millions displaced, the scale of suffering was unimaginable. In the face of this tragedy, we knew it was our duty to take action.
At Mercy Appeal, our team united to raise as much support as possible, reaching out to family and friends to provide essential relief for those affected by this devastating earthquake. Through collective efforts, we were able to deliver critical aid, including food, shelter, offering hope and stability to those in desperate need.

However, if circumstances prevent us from using your contribution as intended, we will direct it toward similar projects in the same country or support urgent initiatives in other regions where help is needed most.
